Strawberry Jam Junk Journal Background
Oh how much fun and serendipity took place while creating this Day 4 background! It was simply beautiful with the application of two colors – light pink and crimson red. I fully intended to stencil with the metallic texture paste but, after seeing this step, I just could not cover the image!! Happy accident time.
Happy accidents happen all the time when creating. You job as the artist is to know when to stop painting! When I was learning to paint murals from my two French mentors, I vividly recall one bit of their wisdom – “It takes two people to create art. One to paint and the other to tell you when it is done!” Of course, it sounded much better in their heavy French accents. I miss Pierre and Dom almost every day!

Applying the paints with an old room card or credit card is just too easy sometimes. I am calling this background “Strawberry Jam.” Just because!! I hope you will enjoy painting with me or at least creating a junk journal page with the Printables! It is available by clicking HERE!
